PhD in Microelectronics/Fuzzy Logic, MBA, Master in ICT Management, and Computer Engineer. Attended post-graduate courses in MIT, UCLA, EPFL and others, and certified Cisco-CCNA and SW Testing by British Computer Society.
Public officer in the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) since 2008 currently like Director of Technology Innovation Division in AEPD, with duties related with issue of technology-privacy surveys and among others. Previously I was Head of Inspection.
Appointed like expert in EU Twinning projects regarding privacy, RTA in Croatia and head of the privacy component in Ukraine.
More than twenty years of experience as partial-time professor in privacy regulation, computer security, cryptography, networks and digital systems and several publications in books and magazines
Previous posts were in the Spanish Institute of Strategic Surveys (IEEE), C3S of Ministry of Defence and in the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), like Head of the Radar Laboratory.
