Jolanda Tromp

Dr. Jolanda Tromp is a seasoned human factors XR consultant, leveraging a decade of experience in shaping industries with innovative immersive technology solutions. Her academic background in collaborative XR, Psychology, Design, Intercultural Teamwork, and a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and multi-user XR for high-precision collaboration laid the foundation for her career focused on practical methods to develop user-friendly XR applications. She has demonstrated expertise in human factors for XR user experience design & evaluation and is a recognized author in the HCI-XR community. Their recent achievements include leading a Delphi consensus study on the future of XR, published in «Roadmapping XR Technologies», a Taxonomy of Medical XR applications (in press), and presentation at the Global XR Conference of the translation and validation of two standardized XR Presence and Immersion questionnaires from English to Spanish.
