Jesús Boby Alcaide

Jesús Boby is MSc in Aerospace Engineering and PhD in Economics. He has close to 20 years of experience managing operations and developing business on Aerospace & Defence engineering services. This has allowed him to partner with the key actors of the industry on the design, manufacturing and in-service support on the main Aero & Defence Programmes in Europe.
In 2024 he joined CATEC (Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies), acting as its Smart Industry Director. He leads AI, robotics, additive manufacturing, testing and advanced manufacturing units, providing cutting-edge research activities to help aerospace stakeholders develop their technology roadmaps.
