Idoia Salazar

Prof. Idoia Salazar (PhD), Founder and president of the Observatory of the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence (OdiseIA). Specialist in Ethics and legislation in AI. She’ s member of the AI (regulation and governance) expert team at the AI Observatory of the European Parliament and part of the expert team at the AI Governance Alliance under the World Economic Forum (WEF) . She´s also a member of UNESCO’s Women4Ethical AI (W4EAI) .She´s currently working on the Official Certification on AI in Spain and in the configuration and development of the National AI Regulatory Sandbox. Principal Investigator of the SIMPAIR Research Group (Social Impact of AI and Robotics) , focusing mainly on the need for a multicultural approach to Ethics on AI. Professor in international degrees at CEU San Pablo University. Director of the International Chair in ‘Generative AI: challenges and risks’ financed by the Next Generation European funds. Author of 4 books about AI and its impact.
