Elías Zamora Sillero

Elías holds a master’s degree in physics and a PhD in mathematics from the University of Seville. After finishing his PhD in 2008, he worked till 2012 at the ETH Zurich (Switzerland) as research scientist in the framework of the development of machine learning methodology oriented towards mathematical modelling in cell biology. From 2012 till 2021 he worked in the German quantitative asset management boutique GET Capital AG as head of Quantitative Research & Product Development department. Specifically, from 2019 he was partner and member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of GET Capital AG. Serving in these positions he was responsible of the development and implementation of advanced financial products based on novel AI technology and the creation of new business lines based on consultancy around data-intensive technologies. Since 2021, Elías Zamora is the Chief Data Officer (CDO) of Sevilla FC and has grounded the data department of the club. As CDO he is the executive responsible for the transversal data strategy of the club.
