Carlos Rivadulla

Carlos specializes in AI, IP, and IT law. With over 20 years of experience, he is currently the Manager of the IP & IT team at ECIJA Law Firm, overseeing international lawyers specializing in AI and technology-related disputes, IP, consumer rights, and internet liability. His expertise has been recognized in cases before the General Court and the European Court of Justice. From 2004 to 2010, he was Senior Associate in IP at Clifford Chance. Carlos has been an Professor of Media Law and Intellectual Property and a Lecturer at UNAV, UCM3, ESADE-URL, and ESSEC Business School in Paris.
Carlos holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Columbia University and has completed Ph.D. coursework in IT/IP Law at UOC. He also has a J.D. equivalent in Business Law from Universitat de Barcelona.
His accolades include winning the First Prize in Oral Argumentation at the Barcelona Bar Association in 2003 and the Second Prize in their Narrative Legal Contest in 2007.
