Álvaro Sánchez-Apellaniz

Alvaro is the Chief Strategy & Data Officer of Cosentino, a global leader on the surfacing market that inspires customers through innovation and high value surfaces for the architectural and design world. He leads the Strategy & Transformation office, in charge of defining the strategy of the company, ensuring the success of strategic projects and developing the Business Plan. He also leads the Data&Analytics team end-to-end (Data Fabric, Data Governance, Advanced Analytics, Visualization) to ensure achieving the business goals of the Group. Alvaro has a business and technical background and has led multiple Data&Analytics transformations as well as strategic projects, first as a consultant in different companies and then as part of the Falabella Group. His main focus is in delivering value through cross-functional teams with a special focus of leveraging Data and Technology as a catalyst for growth and impact.
