Albert Almajano

As the CIO Iberia at B. Braun Group, I lead the IT and digital strategy and operations for a global leader in medical and pharmaceutical products and services. With over 20 years of experience in the IT field, I have successfully managed and delivered complex and diverse IT projects that align with the business goals and enhance the quality of life of patients and healthcare professionals.

My core competencies include IT and digital transformation, organizational change management, innovation and new business development, IT governance and compliance, team building and leadership, and stakeholder management and negotiation. I have an MBA, an Executive Master in Digital Business, and a CIO Advanced Program certificate from ESADE Business & Law School, as well as a Master in IT Management from La Salle BCN. I am also a professor at La Salle Barcelona, where I share my knowledge and experience in IT governance with master’s students.
