Maria Rodriguez de la Rua holds a degree in Economics (Univ Carlos III) and from 2004 is a Spanish State Chartered Economist and Trade Expert.
Prior to this post, she has held several positions in the General State administration, within the Secretary of State for Trade. She also worked at the European Commission and in the Interamerican Development Bank. She is much involved with issues related with women and trade as well as the digitalization of the organization she works for.
