Klaus is a Physicist and has been with Volkswagen for 30+ years in research areas & edge technologies. Recently he was in Group Digitalization – Products & Services, working on Software-over-the-Air and Distributed Ledger Technologies. Before he built up the Volkswagen Electronics Research Lab in California, initiated Stanley, the autonomous car winning Darpa Great Challenge, was director of Germany’s 1. public City-Wifi and initiated BIG IoT, a European project to enable IoT ecosystems.
