Xavier Foz

Xavier Foz is a partner of the Spanish law firm Roca Junyent, which is a leading independent firm that provides a full range of legal services. Xavier has a wealth of experience in banking and financial law, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He also specializes in advising fintech companies. Xavier is passionate about transforming innovations, the reason why he built up the practice area of blockchain within the firm (which has been nominated to the Innovation Awards of the business newspaper Expansión). He has been a member to the Board of Directors of the Alastria Consortium, which promotes the first semi-public blockchain network in Spain. He is a co-author of the book “Blockchain: la revolución industrial de internet”. He is also a mentor of blockchain projects of the accelerator Attico. He is a lecturer in the Ll. M. in Professional Legal Practice at ESADE and UPF and in the Ll. M. in Blockchain Technologies of the UPC.
