Jesús Mantas

Jesús Mantas is an Independent Director and Chair of Compensation & Management Development in Biogen; and Senior Advisor to IBM and other leading companies.

He retired as the Global Managing Partner leading an $11B service unit of IBM. In his IBM tenure, he led Strategy, Innovation and Corporate Development and acquired over 14 companies; he was Global General Manager of IBM Business Operations, led IBM Consulting in Latin America and led relationships with global leading clients.

He served in the inaugural World Economic Forum’s Global AI Council, serves as vice-chair of HITEC non-profit board, and he is a Limited Partner and Angel Investor.

Before joining IBM, Jesus was a partner in the High Technology Practice of PwC Consulting in California.

Jesus holds degrees in Telecommunications and Business by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, was a professor at the Graduate School of Management of the University of California, Irvine; and served as an officer in the Air Force of Spain.
