Jesús Gómez Melgar

Jesús Gómez Melgar is a Computer Science Engineer from University of Seville, originally from Huelva (Spain). He has been working at Cepsa since 2017, currently as Head of Information Systems at La Rábida Energy Park. In addition, he leads the deployment of technologies within the framework of Industry 4.0 at Cepsa. Previously, he worked as Head of Industrial systems at Mahou-San Miguel at its production center in Malaga. For two years, Jesús was part of the Operational Technology Systems team at Abengoa, being responsible for defining IT/OT architectures for industrial plants.Internationally, and for 3 years while working at Schneider Electric, he actively collaborated in the engineering and commissioning of several projects of thermosolar power plants and other technologies in South Africa, USA, United Arab Emirates and others.
