Professor of Software Engineering at University of Granada and researcher at the Andalusian Research Institute on Data Science and Computational Intelligence. Specially engaged to knowledge transfer, is founder of Ageo 3D Tech (spin-off of UGR) and Smart Tourism Technologies, whose solution Aumentur won the Startup Fest competition award in TIS2021 and the AMT Destination Awards in FITUR 2023. From 2016 to 2020 has been vice-director of the Entrepreneurship unit of the University of Granada (UGR Emprendedora). Currently, he is part of the Spanish Entrepreneurship Observatory, and member of the GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) team in Granada.
