David is an experienced security professional with a strong background in managing cyber and physical security programs. Since July 2024, he has served as Chief Information Security Officer at Barcelona City Council.
Previously, he led global security efforts for a major European telecommunications infrastructure company, where he implemented risk mitigation strategies, developed threat intelligence capabilities, and ensured ISO 27001 certification for the corporation and its subsidiaries across multiple countries.
David is actively involved in the security community and contributes to industry events and research initiatives. He is committed to anticipating and addressing security challenges in an increasingly dynamic environment.
