Carmen Rey

Carmen Rey is Head of Swift and CIB Payments in PagoNxt (a Santander company). She is responsible for providing Swift connectivity services and CIB (Corporate and Investment banking) payment solutions to Santander group units, as well as for providing open market services in the payment and financial messaging sector. In her role, she cares about technology, digital innovation, cybersecurity and about continuously developing solutions that provide a streamlined payment experience for all customers.
Carmen previously worked in several IT and Operations transformational projects in Santander, Barclays and Accenture.
She graduated from Universidad Complutense of Madrid in Business administration and holds an EMBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
