Carmen Gómez – Acebo

Under this position, she assumes responsibility for the governance, implementation and monitoring of CCEP’s sustainability strategy (‘This is Forward’) in Spain and Portugal.
This strategy sets a roadmap and includes specific commitments and actions to be fulfilled, both internally throughout its entire supply chain (ingredients, packaging, water, climate, suppliers and social areas) and externally, developing programs that help the company achieve a positive impact on society and the environment.
With a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, Gómez-Acebo assumed responsibility for the Sustainability Area at the beginning of her professional career at Nielsen and then Coca-Cola, after having led the Strategy and Business Development department in the Commercial Area for years.
