How artificial intelligence is transforming music

This session delves into the landscape shaped by artificial intelligence’s intersection with the music industry, drawing insights from the first AI and Music report in Latin America by FUTURX and LARROSA. This groundbreaking report, featuring a survey of over 150 professionals from 16 countries, a legal focus group, and an artistic experimentation process, culminates in a unique piece created with AI and a distinctive “Latin American Singer” voice model. Our goal is to explore how this technology impacts the music scene beyond mainstream advancements, its primary applications, and the ethical/legal debates reshaping the industry. We will also highlight the innovations AI brings to music, the key challenges, and future perspectives.
