A cultural historian & media scholar, Siva Vaidhyanathan speaks on the impact of digitalization on society/democracy. Siva is a Professor of Media Studies and director of the Center for Media and Citizenship at UVA. He contributes frequently on radio news programs, notably BBC, CNN & NBC. Siva is author of Antisocial Media: How Facebook Disconnects Us and Undermines Democracy (OUP, 2018). His articles have appeared in The New Yorker, The NY Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian & The Nation.
