Back to agenda Women Leadership on Digital Transformation – The key role of women in shaping the future of work Tue 21 May | 16:20 - 16:40 Co-organized with: Despite women’s greater prominence in political life, women in public office have in many cases yet to fight for their visibility into leadership positions and influence over the decision-making process: there are still many instances where they are simply used as an extension of male power structures. Women are far too often invisible from discussions and policy design around the future of work. We cannot plan and develop strategies that serve all if we don’t include women in public policy making from design to implementation. We need to acknowledge the ways that women are uniquely impacted by technological change and create strategies and policies that address their specific needs. This will only happen if women are in the conversation from the beginning.
